Phillip Thomas Clark was 27 years old when he was asked to design a logo for a new car. He used to work in GMC but left the company to join Ford. He was very excited about new concept that was about to be produced. It was expected to be one of the most powerful and at the same time stylish cars in the world. The image of pony appeared only after 100 days of hard designer work. Before the badge was firstly introduced it was redesigned and modified for several times. Clark was famous for sketching different animals. He made some drawing for local cafes and other establishments. But this time he needed to create something which represented both the name of the new model as well as its American spirit. There are lots of rumors and debates regarding the fact why a horse on Mustang logo gallops to the left. Well, the answer to this question is rather easy.</div>
