BMW 1 - Japanese import

Couple of issues to be sorted...

Picked her up from the dealer and found a couple of issues.

  1. The keys are dead. They only lock and unlock the car every other time. The battery needs replacing, but the jokers at the BMW factory pulled a fast one by making the fob casing completely sealed with no battery cover lol. Hilarious blokes. Anyway, I've already read up online on how to sort it, but bugger that. The car is under warranty, so let the minions at the dealership fix it.

  2. The windscreen washer fluid reservoir is leaking. Overnight, all the water leaks out onto the highest-quality roads in the world—New Zealand's, of course. :))

I've let the dealer know, and they told me to bring the car in next week and they'll sort it all out on their dime.

P.S. The BMW Professional head unit is great, both for quality and features. It was restricted to 90MHz on the FM band because it's a Japanese import, but I've already switched it over to Oceania in the stereo's service menu, so now I get all the frequencies. Cheers to YouTube for the life hacks.

Anyway, we'll see how it goes from here. I hope she runs without any trouble, though that's not exactly typical for a BMW lol
